齊慕實

齊慕實^[1]（Timothy Cheek，1955年4月3日^[2]—）是一位加拿大歷史學家，專門研究知識分子、中國共產黨歷史和近代中國政治制度。他是英屬哥倫比亞大學公共政策與全球事務學院教授、查良鏞中國研究講席教授以及亞洲研究所中國研究中心主任。^[3][4]

生平

1978年於澳大利亞國立大學獲得亞洲研究學士學位。1980年於弗吉尼亞大學獲得歷史學碩士學位。1986年，他在哈佛大學獲得歷史學和東亞語言博士學位，師從孔飛力。 ^[5]2002年至2009年，他擔任《太平洋事務》雜誌的編輯。2002年進入英屬哥倫比亞大學之前，他曾在科羅拉多學院任教。^[3]

曾任不列顛哥倫比亞大學出版社董事會（自2010年起）、《加拿大歷史協會期刊》（渥太華）編輯委員會（自2007年起）、《中國期刊》（堪培拉）編輯委員會（自2007年起）、《問題與研究》（台北）編輯委員會（自2004年起）、《東西方史學》（萊頓/維也納）編輯委員會（自2003年起）、《中國信息》（萊頓）編輯委員會（1998年至今），以及其他執行或顧問職務。^[3]
