生平
因為發現信號肽被授予1999年諾貝爾生理學或醫學獎。「地址標籤」信號肽引導新合成的蛋白質分子到達細胞內恰當的地點，這一機制被稱為蛋白質導向。2018年2月18日，布洛伯爾因病在美國紐約去世，終年82歲。[1]
