Chu-sìn (Eng-gí: information), ia̍h ū kóng sìn-sek, chêng-pò, khah thong-sio̍k ê ì-sù sī chí ū pò-chai it-tēng tāi-chì ê chok-iōng ê tì-sek he̍k-chiá chu-liāu. Tī tì-sek ê koan-tiám lâi kóng, sī thê-kiong lâng tùi si̍t-thé he̍k-chiá thiu-siōng khài-liām ê lí-kái. Nā sī tùi chu-liāu ê koan-tiám lâi kóng, sī chi̍t kóa chham-sò͘ (parameter) ê ta̍t (value).
