早年生活

斯蓋頓出生於安大略省多倫多，父親斯坦·斯蓋頓博士是挪威人，母親瑪麗·艾琳·塞爾夫是加拿大人。她還有一個弟弟^[3]。 斯蓋頓在皇家舞蹈學院接受了12年的訓練，並就讀於克勞德·沃森藝術學院4至 8年級。她在厄爾·黑格中學9至12 年級繼續參加克勞德·沃森藝術項目^[3]，主修視覺藝術。她是在她父親的紀念館裏被星探發現的。
