世界自杀防治日

世界自杀防治日（World Suicide Prevention Day，又称世界预防自杀日^[1]）是在9月10日的疾病意识日，目的是在全世界采取行动来预防自杀，自2003年起全球各地有许多不同的活动^[2]。国际自杀防治协会（英语：International Association for Suicide Prevention）（IASP）和世界卫生组织及世界心理卫生联合会（英语：World Federation for Mental Health）（WFMH）合作主办国际自杀防治日^[3]。在2011年估计有约40个国家在当天有举办相关的活动^[4]。根据世界卫生组织2014年的精神健康地图集，其中的低收入国家都没有全国性的自杀预防策略，中低收入国家中有自杀预防策略的小于10%，中高收入国家及高收入国家有约三分之一有自杀预防策略^[5]。
