中美蓬尾浣熊（Bassariscus sumichrasti）是一种浣熊，分布在墨西哥南部至巴拿马西部的中美洲。牠们喜欢栖身在潮湿及热带常绿的林地及山区森林，按季节会生活在较干旱的落叶林。在其分布地，牠们不怎么普遍。尤其是在哥斯达黎加，牠们只生活在很细小的区域。牠们完全依赖森林环境，故伐林对牠们有很大的影响。
中美蓬尾浣熊是夜间活动、栖于树上及杂食性的。
