充国县是汉代巴郡所属的一个县[1]，东汉和帝永元二年（90年）分阆中复置，汉献帝初平四年（193年），复分为南充国县[2]。建安六年，刘璋分巴郡垫江以上为巴西郡，又分为西充国县、南充国县[3]。其辖地在今川东北地区南充市的大部分地区。
