切割和聚腺苷酸特异性因子(英文:Cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor)简称CPSF参与基因转录过程中从新合成而尚未成熟的mRNA前体分子裂解3'端信号区域。它是第一个与mRNA前体裂解位点(cleavage site)附近的信号区域结合的蛋白质,聚腺苷酸尾巴(poly-A tail)将通过多核苷酸腺苷酸转移酶添加到该蛋白质上。在上游信号区中具有规范的核苷酸序列AAUAAA,其在绝大多数mRNA前体中高度保守。位于聚腺苷酸化之前被切割的mRNA前体部分上的第二个下游信号区域,由富含GU的区域(GU-rich region)所组成。
