史蒂芬·莫法特

史蒂芬·莫法特^OBE（英语：Steven Moffat，1961年11月18日—），或译作魔法特，^[1]是一位苏格兰电视编剧和制片人。

莫法特首部电视作品是青少年电视剧《校园新闻编辑室》。受到本人离婚经历的启发，他创作了情境喜剧《玩笑之外（英语：Joking Apart）》^[3]；而受到与电视制片人苏·维特情感发展的启发，后来又创作了情境喜剧《冤家成双对》。写这两部感情剧之间，他还创作了校园情境喜剧Chalk，此剧是受本人担任英语教育经历的启发。

作为一个毕生的《神秘博士》迷，在节目于2005年恢复播出后，在拉塞尔·T·戴维斯创作了几集的剧本。2009年从第5季开始，莫法特接替戴维斯成为节目第5季开始的首席编剧和执行制片人^[4]。他为史蒂芬·史匹柏导演的电影《丁丁历险记》创作了部分剧本，后因于《神秘博士》的工作而交给他人继续完成。他也基于夏洛克·福尔摩斯小说系列，联合建立了电视剧《新世纪福尔摩斯》。

他获得过不少奖项，包括英国学术电视奖（BAFTA）及部分《神秘博士》剧本的雨果奖。2012年，他赢得了BAFTA特别大奖。
