塞拉诺辣椒是一种原产于墨西哥普埃布拉州(Puebla)和伊达尔戈州(Hidalgo)山地的辣椒。未成熟的塞拉诺辣椒是绿色的，但成熟后却会变成许多种颜色，较常见的有红色，绿色，褐色或黄色。其味道清新爽口，具辛辣味，比一般的青辣椒(Jalapeno pepper)稍辣一些，一般用来生吃。塞拉诺辣椒在史高维尔指标(Scoville rating)约为10,000到25,000。在德州的超级市场(HEB)可以买到。
