水煎包是河南、山东、广东、香港和澳门地区与台湾常见的点心，与“生煎包”相似，有一层薄薄的面粉水做成的薄衣，馅料有猪肉、干贝等，广东水煎包加入虾仁，台湾水煎包加入高丽菜。[1]起锅时会再洒上一层黑芝麻增添香气与卖相。据网络调查，台湾中南部地区有将辣酱戳进、加入水煎包的吃法。[2]
