环境是指相对并相关某项中心事物的周围事物。 中心事物不同，与其相关的周围事物就不同。例如，以人或人类为中心事物，其他生物和非生命物质就是人类生存的环境。以生物为中心事物，其他非生命物质就是生物界的环境。
