稳定流形定理

稳定流形定理（stable manifold theorem）是数学定理，动力系统及微分方程有关，是有关趋近给定双曲不动点（英语：hyperbolic fixed point）的轨道（英语：Orbit (dynamics)）集合之结构。

令

${\displaystyle f:U\subset \mathbb {R} ^{n}\to \mathbb {R} ^{n}}$

为光滑函数，存在双曲不动点${\displaystyle p}$。令${\displaystyle W^{s}(p)}$为${\displaystyle p}$的稳定流形，${\displaystyle W^{u}(p)}$则为不稳定流形。

定理^[1][2][3]提到

• ${\displaystyle W^{s}(p)}$为光滑流形，且切空间也和${\displaystyle f}$在${\displaystyle p}$点线性化的稳定空间（stable space）有相同维度。
• ${\displaystyle W^{u}(p)}$为光滑流形，且切空间也和${\displaystyle f}$在${\displaystyle p}$点线性化的不稳定空间（unstable space）有相同维度。

因此${\displaystyle W^{s}(p)}$是稳定流形，而${\displaystyle W^{u}(p)}$是不稳定流形。
