胸腺嘧啶二聚体

胸腺嘧啶二聚体(英语:Thymine dimer)是指相邻的DNA分子中的两个胸腺嘧啶以共价键相连,一般是由紫外线的照射,或是其他化学突变原所造成。是DNA损害的例子之一。DNA修复系统中负责删除修复的酶可将这些损害辨认出来,并将其修补。对许多生物而言,光裂合酶能直接将二聚体分离,进而完成修复。
