闪光连鳍唇鱼，为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目隆头鱼亚目隆头鱼科的其中一种，分布于西大西洋区，从美国佛罗里达州南部、百慕大群岛至巴西海域，栖息深度3-15米，本鱼在每个鳞片上成鱼有一个细长垂直的蓝色斑点，雄性成鱼在整体的颜色中更绿色而且在一个粉红色的灰白区域里面的体侧中央或黄色上有一个边缘蓝色的墨水黑色的斑点，体长可达17.5公分，栖息在水质清澈沙底质、海草生长的海域，生活习性不明，可作为观赏鱼。
