劳伦斯·赖特（英语：Lawrence Wright；1947年8月2日—）是曾获得一位普利策奖的美国作家、编剧、《纽约客》杂志专栏作家，以及纽约大学法学院法律与安全中心研究员。赖特最为人知名的是在2006年出版了非小说《末日巨塔：卡伊达组织与911之路》（The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11）。赖特也与记录工作者艾利士·吉伯尼合作，吉伯尼执导过赖特的一人秀《My Trip to Al-Qaeda》和他的著作《Going Clear》纪录片版本。

背景与教育
赖特在1965年毕业于德克萨斯州达拉斯的Woodrow Wilson高中，在2009年进入该校的名人堂[1] 。他是杜兰大学的一位毕业生，以及在埃及的开罗美国大学教授英语两年 （1969年获得应用语言学硕士）[2]。
职业
1980年，赖特开始替《德克萨斯月刊》工作，之后转职到《滚石杂志》。1992年后期，他成为《纽约客》杂志的职员。
