華為Ascend W2是華為旗下第二款搭載Windows Phone 8系統的手機。
在微軟官方Windows Phone 8.1手機升級Windows 10 Mobile資格裝置列表中，華為Ascend W2為可能無法升級以及暫時不能升級的裝置（狀態3）。[2]
後續
Ascend W系列為華為唯一搭載Windows Phone系統的智慧型手機系列，該系列僅推出兩款機型（華為Ascend W1、華為Ascend W2），由於考慮到Windows Phone手機不能獲利，華為宣布放棄Windows Phone手機的生產計劃[3]。
