埃德蒙·博欽格

埃德蒙·博欽格（英語：Edmund Bertschinger，1958年—），美國理論天體物理學家和宇宙學家，麻省理工學院物理學教授。

生平

1979年，博欽格在加州理工學院獲得了物理學學士學位。1984年，他在普林斯頓大學獲得了天體物理博士學位，導師是耶利米·歐斯垂克。之後，他在維吉尼亞大學和加州大學伯克利分校進行博士後研究。1986年，他在麻省理工學院擔任物理學助理教授，1996年成為正教授。^[2]

2007至2013年間，他擔任物理系的負責人，目前他擔任Institute Community and Equity Officer。^[3]他曾在各種旨在促進天文學和物理學領域女性和少數群體權益的機構任職。^[4]
