墨卡托環形山

墨卡托環形山(Mercator)是位於雲海西南邊緣的一座月球撞擊坑。它位於坎帕努斯環形山的東南方，兩者被一條狹窄、蜿蜒的山谷分開。

"墨卡托峭壁"(Rupes Mercator)斷層與墨卡托環形山東北側邊緣相切；疫沼的東部邊緣與墨卡托環形山的西緣接壤；而源自拉姆斯登溪系的一條月溪則鄰接著小隕石坑"墨卡托 C"(Mercator C)的西側邊緣。
墨卡托環形山的邊緣略受侵蝕，東西兩側有幾座微型隕石坑，環形山內地表早前已被熔岩覆蓋，留下相對平整而無特點的表面。
衛星隕石坑
按慣例，通過在最靠近墨卡托環形山的隕石坑中心點一側放置字母而在月圖上標註出它們。
