楊建平 (數學家)

楊建平 （英語：Paul C. Yang, 1947年—）是一位美國華裔數學家，普林斯頓大學數學教授。專供於微分幾何和偏微分方程。

生平

1947年出生在台灣彰化市，1973年在幾何學家美籍華裔數學家伍鴻熙指導下拿到加州大學伯克利分校博士學位。^[1]畢業之後曾在萊斯大學、馬里蘭大學學院市分校、印第安納大學和南加州大學先後任教，2001年加入普林斯頓大學。^[2]

他最為知名的是共形幾何、極值度量、數量曲率以及Q-curvature。

榮譽

1981年獲得艾爾弗·斯隆基金^[3] 2012年被選為美國數學學會會士。^[4]
