蓋瑞斯·愛德華

蓋瑞斯·愛德華（英語：Gareth Edwards，1975年6月1日—）是一名英國電影導演，2010年的獨立電影《異獸禁區（英語：Monsters (2010 film)）》讓他獲得廣泛關注^[1][2]。知名作品為2014年科幻災難片《哥吉拉》，以及2016年全球票房達到10.5億美元的《星際大戰外傳：俠盜一號》。

生平

自童年時期他就對電影產生興趣，《星際大戰》對他產生了極大的影響^[3]。

1996年畢業於 University for the Creative Arts (UCA) 電影製作專業。2012年獲得該校的榮譽博士學位^[4]。
