鏡中鏡 (器樂)

《鏡中鏡》（德語：Spiegel im Spiegel），亦有譯作《鏡中之鏡》，是愛沙尼亞作曲家帕特為小提琴與鋼琴所寫的器樂作品，寫於1978年。

作品沿用帕特慣常的「鐘鳴作曲法」方式創作的簡約音樂，主樂器的旋律純以上行或下行的自然音階所構成，由最初兩個音，最終變為接近兩個八度的幅度；至於伴奏部份，則以不間斷的分解和弦所組成，配以低音部或高音部的長音作為襯托。

全曲長度為10分鐘。而除了原來的大提琴與鋼琴的版本外，帕特亦改編予其他樂器的版本。現時，已出版了中提琴、小提琴、低音提琴、中音長笛、雙簧管、英國管、單簧管、巴松管、圓號及上低音薩克管（英語：Baritone Saxophone）與鋼琴的版本，亦有為管風琴的獨奏版本^[1]。

2011年，本曲於BBC廣播四台的節目「騷靈音樂」（Soul Music）中被重點介紹，小提琴家泰絲敏·利托（英語：Tasmin Little）表示《鏡中鏡》是一首充滿「龐大的情感影響」的作品（with a powerful emotional impact）^[2][3]。

樂曲分析

本曲以F大調寫成，採用
拍子，作曲家手稿標示的速度為 ♩≈120，而印刷版本則標示為♩≈100。全曲共126小節。當中鋼琴伴奏主要以F大調主和弦的第二轉位、以分解和弦的方式進行。而在最高音域及最低音域則以F音、A音或C音的延長音（同樣採自F大調的主和弦）作為襯托。

至於小提琴部份，則全以附點全音符下拉奏上行或下行的音階，其長度按每次增長，每一次結尾必停在長音A上：

前奏

三小節鋼琴獨奏

第一組

兩個音，在長音A前各自加入一個音。上行為G音，下行為B♭音。

第二組

三個音，在第一組的前方加入低一個或高一個音，上行為F音；下行為C音。（由此處起所有長音A不再標示）

第三組

四個音，同樣在第二組前加入高或低一個音，但排列方式上，除結束音外，改以倒轉方向形式進行。

第四組

五個音，回復原來的次序和排列。

第五組

六個音，和第三組處理方法一樣，除結束音外，次序倒轉。

第六組

七個音，回復原來的次序和排列。

第七組

八個音，和第三、五組的處理方法相同，除結束音外，次序倒轉。剛好跨越一個八度。

第八組

九個音，回復原來的次序和排列。小提琴由最低音開始。

結束

最後再以一個長音A作完結。
