CAB (檔案格式)

在電腦領域，CAB是微軟視窗內建的壓縮檔案格式，它支援壓縮與數位簽章並在幾種不同的微軟安裝工具中都有應用：Setup API、Device Installer（英語：Device Installer）、AdvPack（英語：AdvPack）（用於從Internet Explorer安裝ActiveX組件）以及Windows Installer。

CAB檔案格式與需使用三種資料壓縮方法：

• DEFLATE，由ZIP檔案格式的作者Phil Katz開發。
• Quantum，licensed from David Stafford, the author of the Quantum archiver.
• LZX，由Jonathan Forbes（英語：Jonathan Forbes）與Tomi Poutanen一起開發，在Jonathan加盟到微軟時交付微軟公司使用。

CAB副檔名也在許多安裝工具中使用（如InstallShield等），但是檔案格式並不相同。
