E4型柴油機車

E4型柴油機車是美國通用汽車電氣動力公司（EMC）為海岸快線鐵路（英語：Seaboard Air Line Railroad）設計製造的一款幹線客運柴油機車。E4型柴油機車與同時期的E3型柴油機車相比，兩者除了外觀上的一些差異外基本上是完全相同的，E4型柴油機車同樣採用12-567型二行程柴油機、D4型直流牽引發電機和D7型直流牽引馬達。1939年10月至1939年12月期間，電氣動力公司共生產了19台E4型柴油機車，包括14台帶有司機室的A節機車，以及5台沒有司機室的B節機車。E4型柴油機車主要用於牽引海岸航航空及鐵路路公司的「銀隕號（英語：Silver Meteor）」旅客列車，直到1964年才中止營運報廢^[1]。
