雞蛋係人嘅嘢食之一。雞蛋營養價值高，含豐富蛋白質，維他命A、B、D同埋礦物質等。當中蛋白質更屬優質成分，經消化後，人體用到佢高達94%，有助構成人體組織同製造荷爾蒙，亦促進體內生長發育、細胞更新、修補損傷等工作。
