巴斯德氏菌屬

巴斯德氏菌屬（Pasteurella）係細菌界的一個屬。該屬的細菌均是兼性厭氧的革蘭氏陰性菌^[1][2]。巴斯德氏菌具有多形性（英语：pleomorphism (microbiology)），但不具有能動性 。該屬的大部分物種都呈過氧化氫酶和氧化酶陽性^[3]。

這個屬的細菌是以法國化學家和微生物學家路易斯·巴斯德命名的。他是第一個確定今天被稱爲「多殺性巴斯德氏菌（英语：Pasteurella multocida）」（Pasteurella multocida）的細菌是霍亂的元兇的人。

發病機制

染上由巴斯德氏菌屬的細菌引發的禽類霍亂的雞，其糞便爲綠色的

巴斯德氏菌屬內的許多物種都是人畜共通傳染病的病原體，被家養的寵物咬傷後，人可能會因此染上相關疾病^[4][5]。

多殺性巴斯德氏菌（英语：Pasteurella multocida）是導致人類巴斯德氏菌感染的主要病原體^[6]。人患上巴斯德氏菌感染症後一般會出現腫脹、蜂窩組織炎、傷口流出帶血分泌物的症狀。感染還可能會擴散到患處附近的關節，並導致被感染的關節腫脹發炎。

氯黴素、青黴素、四環素、大環內酯類藥物都能很好地殺滅巴斯德氏菌屬的細菌。

許多、狗貓的口腔中含有巴斯德氏菌屬的細菌。兔的體內也常常攜帶着這類細菌。這些動物在健康時也攜帶有巴斯德氏菌屬的細菌。因爲這些細菌常常會感染人，所以在人被動物咬傷時，在醫療上採取積極的防禦措施（抗菌治療常常是必要的）是必要的^[7]。

在兔體內

多殺性巴斯德氏菌能導致兔生病甚至死亡。兔子染上相關疾病後的主要症狀是上呼吸道疾病。多殺性巴斯德氏菌能通過兔的鼻腔分泌物傳播，並在兔子的群體中迅速擴散。在水中或潮溼地區，多殺性巴斯德氏菌能存活好幾天^[8]。
