東港捲管螺科

東港捲管螺科（學名：Cochlespiridae）是一個捕食性海螺的分類單元，是芋螺總科之下的一個海洋腹足綱軟體動物的一個科^[1]。

本科物種在型態學上與其他科物種的分野並不明顯，而且其螺殼的型態與分子生物學的數據並不一致。各屬所屬的物種很可能還要再調整

本科物種主要由原來捲管螺科東港捲管螺亞科（英语：Cochlespirinae）（Cochlespirinae），再加入新的屬升格而成。升格後的東港捲管螺科不設亞科級分類單元。

型態描述

本科物種的體型一般都在20到30 mm左右；Nihonia maxima（英语：Nihonia maxima）的體型比較大，最長可達128 mm，Aforia magnifica（英语：Aforia magnifica）的螺殼甚至可達150 mm長。螺殼呈捲管狀，紡錘形，有長而尖的殼尖（英语：Spire (mollusc)）。 Axial sculpture（英语：Sculpture (mollusc)） is absent or feebly developed. The aperture is ovate. The columellar（英语：Columella (gastropod)） margin is smoot. The outer lip（英语：Lip (gastropod)） has a narrow profound anal sinus on the subsutural ramp。與大多數芋螺總科物種不同的是：本科物種的虹管溝通常非常直、窄和狹長。The螺厣has a terminal nucleus.

The foot of the animal is truncated anteriorly, obtuse posteriorly. The eyes are located externally near the base of cylindrical tentacles. 齒舌的齒式是1-0-R-0-1^[1]。 The duplex radular teeth are nonhypodermic.
