浮絲藻屬

浮丝藻属（学名：Planktothrix），又名浮游藍絲藻屬，是一種丝状蓝藻^[1]。本屬的模式種是阿氏浮丝藻（Planktothrix agardhii）^[1][2]。與其他顫藻目的物種一樣，浮丝藻属的物種沒有異型細胞（英语：Heterocyst）與厚壁孢子^[1][3]，其獨特之處在於其浮游植物特性、毛状体單生、具有气囊结构^[4][5][6]。在須田彰一郎等人發表成果之前^[7]，本屬部分物種被歸入顫藻屬。

安東尼·瓦爾斯比（英语：A.E. Walsby）就本屬物種的生態及生理學發表過大量文獻，當中更把物種產生微囊藻素的合成酶的相關基因序列出來^[8]。

造成綠色水華的阿氏浮丝藻與形成紅潮的红色浮丝藻在北半球的湖泊很常見^[9]，會產生強烈的肝毒素（英语：Hepatotoxicity），稱為微囊藻毒素（英语：Microcystin）。微囊藻毒素為飲用水汙染的來源之一，對肝有害^[9][10]，而且對熱的抗性高，甚至以活性碳吸附、加入氯或臭氧消毒也無法完全消除^[11]。
