金贝壳奖是西班牙圣塞巴斯蒂安国际电影节颁发的最高荣誉，即最佳影片奖。
至今共有5位导演获得过2次金贝壳奖，分别为美国导演弗朗西斯·科波拉 (1969 & 1984)，西班牙导演Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón（英语：Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón） (1982 & 1986)，墨西哥导演Arturo Ripstein（英语：Arturo Ripstein） (1993 & 2000)，伊朗导演Bahman Ghobadi（英语：Bahman Ghobadi） (2004 & 2006)和，以及西班牙导演Imanol Uribe（英语：Imanol Uribe） (1994 & 1996)。迄今有两部华语片获此殊荣：陆川导演的《南京！南京！》（2009）和冯小刚导演的《我不是潘金莲》（2016）。
