Dane Lloyd MP (born February 16, 1991) is a Canadian politician who was elected to the House of Commons of Canada in a by-election on October 23, 2017, following the resignation of Rona Ambrose.[1] Lloyd represents the constituency of Sturgeon River—Parkland as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. Lloyd continues to serve as a Canadian Army reservist in the Governor General's Foot Guards located in Ottawa.[2] As of 2017 he held a commission as an infantry officer with the rank of lieutenant.[citation needed]
