Dunlop (/dʌnˈlɒp/; Scots: Dunlap,[2] Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Lob[3] or Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Lùib)[4] is a village and parish in East Ayrshire, Scotland.[5] It lies on the A735, north-east of Stewarton, seven miles (eleven kilometres) from Kilmarnock. The road runs on to Lugton and the B706 enters the village from Beith and Burnhouse.
