Echinoplectanum laeve

Echinoplectanum laeve is a species of diplectanid monogenean parasitic on the gills of the black-saddled coralgrouper, Plectropomus laevis. It has been described in 2006. [1] E. laeve is the type-species of the genus Echinoplectanum.
