Jarritos is a brand of soft drink in Mexico, owned by Novamex, a large independent bottling conglomerate based in El Paso, Texas.[1] Jarritos was founded in 1950 by Don Francisco "El Güero" Hill.[2][3]
Jarritos is made in fruit flavors, with cane sugar and is less carbonated than popular soft drinks.[4] It is made in Mexico. Many Jarritos varieties are naturally flavored. The word jarrito means "little jug" in Spanish and refers to the Mexican tradition of storing drinks in clay pottery jugs.[4] Produced in Mexico, they are sold throughout the Americas. Jarritos comes in 370 mL (13 US fl oz) and 600 mL (20 US fl oz) glass and plastic, as well as 1.5-liter bottles.
