Promax Awards
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Promax Awards (formally known as the PromaxBDA Awards) honors entertainment marketing, promotion, and design by a company or individual that is broadcast, published, or released in their respective markets.[1][2]
Promax International/BPME (branded as "Promax") sponsors awards competitions at the global level, as well as in North America, Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa, Asia, India, and Australia and New Zealand. There is also a competition at the local level in the United States and Canada.
The awards categories include network TV, TV stations, cable networks, cable systems, network radio, radio stations, syndication distributors, and interactive media. At one point, they also included the Brandon Tartikoff Award,[3] although it has not been awarded in several years.
Winners in the past have included FX Networks, Showtime, Red Bee Media, HBO, A&E Networks, 4Creative, Les Télécréateurs Paris,[4][5] Rogers Media, and Bell Media Agency.[6][7]
Promax Awards are handed out each year, now in its 67th year in 2023.
