Shish taouk or shish tawook[1] (Arabic: شيش طاووق; Hebrew: שישליק עוף; Turkish: tavuk şiş[2][3]) is a traditional marinated chicken shish kebab of Ottoman cuisine that later became part of Middle Eastern cuisine.
