2018 Victorian state election

The 2018 Victorian state election was held on 24 November 2018 to elect the 59th Parliament of Victoria, including all 88 seats in the Legislative Assembly and all 40 seats in the Legislative Council. It was conducted by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC).

The incumbent Labor government, led by Premier Daniel Andrews, won a second term in government, opposed by the Liberal/National Coalition, led by Matthew Guy, in a landslide. The election was nicknamed the "Danslide", a a word combining the words "Dan" and "landslide".[1]
