Cher (1946–) is 'n Amerikaanse sangeres en rolprentaktrise wat rock/pop liedjies sing.[1] Sy is veral bekend vir haar diep, lae kontra-alt sangstem.[2]
Sy het in die 1960’s saam met haar man, Sonny Bono, in die groep Sonny and Cher gesing. Hulle groot trefferliedjie was “I Get You Babe". Sy het ook verskeie suksesvolle solo-albums opgeneem, soos Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves, If I Could Turn Back Time en Believe. Haar rolprente sluit in Mask en Moonstruck, waarvoor sy met ’n Oscar bekroon is.
