Carrera

A finales de los sesenta, Clare Torry empecipió la so carrera como cantante, especialmente realizando versiones de cantares populares. Alan Parsons pidiólu que participara na grabación del álbum The Dark Side Of The Moon de Pink Floyd, precisamente nel cantar The Great Gig in the Sky, compuesta pol tecladista Richard Wright.

A partir d'entós, Torry desempeñóse como cantante de sesión, xunto a artistes y bandes como Kevin Ayers, Olivia Newton-John, Shriekback, The Alan Parsons Project, Gary Brooker, Matthew Fisher, Cerrone, Culture Club, Meat Loaf, Johnny Mercer, Roger Waters y David Gilmour.

En febreru de 2006, Clare llanzó un CD tituláu Heaven in the Sky, una coleición de versiones orixinales de la so música dende los años sesenta hasta los setenta.
