Graves morrió'l 14 de marzu de 2010,^[8] en esmoreciéndose fuera del so llar en Pacific Palisades, cerca de Santa Monica (California), pocu dempués de tornar d'un xinto dominical en compañía de la so familia. La so fía intentó alministra-y reanimación cardiopulmonar. Según l'axente de Graves, l'actor morrió d'un ataque cardiacu.^[8]
