Стаўрапі́гія (па-грэцку: σταυροπηγία, ад σταυρός — «крыж» + πήγνυμι — «устанавіць, паставіць, узьняць», літ. «узьняцьце крыжа») — статус, які надаецца праваслаўным манастырам, лаўрам і братэрствам, а таксама саборам і духоўным школам, што робіць іх незалежнымі ад мясцовай епархіяльнай улады й падначаленымі непасрэдна патрыярху або сыноду. Літаральны пераклад «узьняцьце крыжа» паказвае на тое, што ў стаўрапігіяльных манастырах крыж уздымаўся патрыярхамі ўласнаручна.
У дзейным (ад 2000 году) Статуце РПЦ гаворыцца: «Стаўрапігіяльныя манастыры знаходзяцца пад начальніцкім наглядам і кананічным кіраваньнем Патрыярха Маскоўскага і ўсяе Русі ці тых Сынадальных устаноў, якім Патрыярх Маскоўскі і ўсяе Русі дабраславіць такое назіраньне й кіраваньне»[1].
