Hvar er er en ø beliggende centralt i Adriaterhavet ikke langt fra Kroatiens kyst. Øen ligger som centralt knudepunkt for mange ruter, der krydser det østlige Adriaterhav. Hvar ligger cirka en times sejlads fra Split.
