Das KZ Molat (campo di concentramento di Melada) war zur Zeit des Zweiten Weltkrieges ein italienisches Konzentrationslager des faschistischen Italien auf der Insel Molat und unterstand dem italienischen Innenministerium. Das Lager bestand vom 30. Juni 1942 bis zum 8. September 1943 und diente wie die Konzentrationslager Gonars und Rab hauptsächlich für die Internierung von Slowenen, Kroaten und Serben, um im annektierten Dalmatien Italiener ansiedeln zu können.[1] Das aus fünf Baracken bestehende Lager wurde laut Erinnerungsplakette von etwa 20.000 Häftlingen durchlaufen, von denen etwa 1.000 starben oder erschossen wurden.[2]
