The 2017–18 Orlando Magic season was the 29th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On May 23, 2017, the Magic announced that John Hammond would be the new general manager, thus officially ending his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks.[1] Finishing with a 25–57 record, the Magic extended their postseason drought to six consecutive years. On April 12, 2018, Frank Vogel was fired by the Magic after the conclusion of the 2017–18 season.[2]
