The company was founded in September 2018[2] by Rajeev Amara,[1] a former managing director at Golden Gate Capital.[4] Since its founding, the firm's acquisitions and areas of interest have been medical and biopharmaceutical technology, energy transition, defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure services, and specialty materials.[5]
In 2022, Arcline acquired Omega Engineering from Spectris PLC.[6] Under the management of both firms, Omega started to recover from one of the largest employee sabotage cases in United States business history.[7]
