Dennis Gerrard Stephen Doherty (November 29, 1940[1] – January 19, 2007) was a Canadian musician. He was a founding member of the 1960s musical group the Mamas and the Papas for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
