The systematic name of this enzyme class is CTP:dolichol O-phosphotransferase. This enzyme is also called dolichol phosphokinase. This enzyme participates in N-glycan biosynthesis.
In humans dolichol kinase is encoded by the DOLK gene.[5][6][7]
