Draft:List of emojis (faces)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The following is a list of face emojis. The earliest emojis in the list such as ☺️ where first approved as symbols as part of Unicode 1.1 in 1993.[1] These and others that followed were later first given emoji presentation status as part of Unicode 6.0.0 in 2010[1][2] and were later added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.[3]

The emojis in this set are split between the Unicode blocks Emoticons, Miscellaneous Symbols, Supplemental Symbols and Pictographs, and Symbols and Pictographs Extended-A.
Some of the emojis listed can be displayed as either a symbol or an emoji with the variation selector character U+FE0F. Most of the emojis are single Unicode characters, while some such as 😵 use the Zero-width joiner character U+200D to combine two or more Unicode codepoints to display a new emoji.
