smoke dischargers / grenade launchers (covered)
smoke dischargers / grenade launchers (covered)
This is not a crosswind sensor; it is the main radio antenna.
This open rangefinder slot makes this tank an M60A1. The M60A3 had a laser rangefinder and this opening would have a cover which was locked closed (except for live fire).
This tank does not have a thermal cover (it was not removed for the installation of the Hoffman main gun fire simulation device).
C-31, 2-68 Armor, 8th Infantry Division. This is the platoon leader's tank (the "1" in "C-31").
