Summary
Memorial of the battle of Varna, which took place on 10 November 1444 near Varna, Bulgaria. The facade of the mausoleum built in an antique Thracian tomb-hill bears the name Vladislao Varnensi, referring to the king of Poland and Hungary, the leader of the Christian forces, who fell there. A copy of his tomb in Kraków is located inside.
