GreenChip
Technology brand of Philips Semiconductors / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
GreenChip is a brand of integrated circuits (ICs) for power management applications. Originally developed by Philips Semiconductors (now NXP Semiconductors), GreenChip technology is primarily used in power adapters and power supplies for various electronic devices.[1]
GreenChip ICs have also been incorporated into energy-saving compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) and some LED lighting products. The use of GreenChip technology has contributed to reductions in power consumption across a range of electronics.[2]
